Dr. Yu Luo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Mississippi State University (MSU), having joined the faculty in 2018. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut in 2015, and both his M.S. and B.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University, China, in 2012 and 2009, respectively. Dr. Luo was a co-recipient of the Best Paper Award at IFIP Networking 2013. His research primarily focuses on sustainable Internet of Things (IoT), RF energy harvesting, underwater acoustic communications, and sustainable edge computing.
