Overview

Dr. Rizwan U. Farooqui’s service centers on strengthening academic programs, advancing scholarly communities, and translating Construction 4.0/5.0 into practice. At Mississippi State University (2023–present), he serves on the BCS Curriculum Committee, CAAD BA Advisory Committee, CAAD Curricula Task Force, and the MSU Honor Code Council, while supporting journal/conference editorial activities. Professionally, he holds editorial roles (Associate Editor, Frontiers in Built Environment; Guest Editor, Buildings) and provides regular peer review across leading journals and conferences. He has led international conference service as Technical Chair for CITC-14 (2024) and CITC-15 (2025), and has served on the CITC advisory committee since 2007. Outreach includes continuing-education offerings and proposals for a Center of Excellence and a Graduate Certificate in Construction Management. He also contributes as an academic judge at MSU symposia and ASCE competitions, ensuring student engagement and industry alignment.
