Dr. Okojie is a professor at the Department of Technology, Leadership, and Design at Mississippi State University (MSU). She teaches courses in educational foundations and curriculum, technology integration, and educational research methods. She has developed and instituted new courses at MSU. Dr. Okojie is the co-principal editor of the Handbook of Research on Adult Learning in Higher Education, which focuses on adult learning methodologies.

Her research interests include foundations of education, technology integration, workforce program planning, and doctoral student advising. Dr. Okojie has graduated numerous doctoral students as a major adviser/dissertation director and has mentored them for postdoctoral careers.
