Biography
Dr. Hallie Smith is an Assistant Professor of Applied Behavior Analysis in the Department of Counseling, Higher Education Leadership, Educational Psychology, and Foundations. She is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, a Licensed Psychologist and currently serves as the Program Coordinator for the Applied Behavior Analysis Program. Additionally, Dr. Smith is the Co-Director of the Pediatric Feeding Disorders Lab at Mississippi State University. Dr. Smith has been a part of the ABA program since it's development in 2020.
Prior to her faculty position, Dr. Smith worked at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine/Kennedy Krieger Institute as a Licensed Psychologist in the Pediatric Feeding Disorders Program. Dr. Smith received her Ph.D. in School Psychology from Mississippi State University in 2017 and completed an APA-accredited internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine/Kennedy Krieger Institute in the Pediatric Feeding Disorders Program from 2016-2018.
